   Nov 29,  · Just a lot of echo. Like all Kinks records up to and including this album, buy mono. And yes, it is better than Rubber Soul, Aftermath and -- although I love it -- The Who Sell out, which is pretty much a comedy album, and a very clever one. One reviewer described Face To Face as "pithy little tales of a decadent, class-crazed England"/5(41).
